Brian Bashore- Early Season Walleye

Originally from Nebraska, Brian has found his home in South Dakota. Brian is a Professional Touring Angler and owner of The Walleye Guys Guide Service; fishing the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour for the past two seasons and finishing in the top 25 in the Nation in 2017 He has been guiding on the Missouri River system, as well as some Nebraska and Kansas Reservoirs, for over 8 years. Brian has dedicated is life to the outdoors and inspiring others to live their dreams.

Hans Stephenson- Fly Fishing Techniques

Kevin Robling- Non-meandered waters: Current legislation efforts, impacts to public use

Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries science from SDSU. While obtaining his undergraduates degree he was also a member of the SDSU football team and played center on the offensive line. After graduating in 2008 he went on to pursue his master’s at SDSU in large mammal ecology and researched white-tailed deer in Clark County. He was hired on by SDGFP in 2011 as a resource biologist in Sioux Falls and then was promoted to a big game biologist in 2012. His passion is big game research and since 2012 Kevin has been involved with radio-collaring thousands of deer across the state. In July of 2017, he was recruited by the Secretary SDGFP to take on a new position as an executive assistant special projects coordinator where his main job duties included implementation of the new nonmeandered water legislation known as the Open Water Compromise. He is also involved with other high profile projects that are assigned by the Secretary and/or the Governors staff.
